Controlling Lights & Eye Patterns
Lighting in PropPal is three separate, deliberate actions rather than one combined control. Here's how they fit together, plus how eye patterns work.
Steps
- 1
Pick a color
Choosing a color alone doesn't change anything on the prop yet. It just sets what the next action below will use.
- 2
Tap Set Color to hold it
Applies the color you picked as a solid, steady light.
- 3
Tap Cycle Colors for motion
Makes the lights continuously rotate through colors instead of holding one.
- 4
Tap Lights Off when you're done
Turns the lights off entirely.
Eye Patterns
- 1
The gallery is matched to real hardware
Each picture in the eye pattern picker was matched by hand against real props, so what you see should match what lights up.
- 2
A mismatch usually means a different model
If a pattern doesn't match what's shown, your prop model may number its patterns differently than the one PropPal matched the picture against. This is a display mismatch, not a malfunction.
