Connecting to 12ft Skelly

The 12-foot skeleton widely nicknamed "Skelly" is one of the most popular animatronic props out there. Here's how to get yours talking, lit up, and controllable through PropPal.

Steps

  1. 1

Assemble and power it on first

Follow the manufacturer's included instructions for assembly and power before trying to connect. See our general assembly and safety tips if you want a second pass on anchoring it securely.

  2. 2

    Open PropPal's Props tab

Tap Connect a Prop with Bluetooth turned on and your 12ft Skelly powered on nearby.

  3. 3

Select it from the scan list

You'll see a connected badge and its name confirmed once paired.

  4. 4

    Explore what's controllable

The 12ft Skelly moves its head, supports a static color for its lights, and has its own eye pattern gallery. PropPal only shows controls that actually work on this specific model.

  5. 5

    Give your prop a voice

Head to Sound Studio to generate, record, or import a clip and send it straight to your Skelly.

PropPal is an independent control app and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the manufacturer of the 12ft Skelly. Grab the official 12ft Skelly manual (PDF) for exact assembly, power, and safety instructions.
